In this episode I interview Ulrik Poulsen and Sandu Pescaru of Alpha Core / Poulsen Hybrid. We talk about their technology for retrofitting vehicles with external electric motors and batteries in the trunk. They aim to retrofit a mainstream class vehicle and race it for the Automotive X Prize. Because their technology can be retrofitted unto any vehicle, they feel they have incredible flexibility, and that this will enable them to tailor their vehicle to the rules, upping their chance of winning :-).
